Are you finding that you are not being ranked in the search results? The problem might be in your WordPress Visibility Settings.
WordPress Visibility Settings – SEO Basics for Artists Selling Online
Many new bloggers get confused between the search engine visibility settings and the visibility settings found in the WordPress editor.
WordPress allows you to decide if you would like your website to be searchable from search engines or have your site not crawlable
The benefit of this feature is to allow you to work on your site and not have it scannable prior to its completion. You can also use this feature if you are planning on making some large changes to your site.
If you use this feature make sure that you uncheck the box when you want your site to go live and be searched by the search engines.
Also, if you are finding that your site is not being ranked for some reason, check to see if this feature was accidentally turned on.
You can see if your site is being ranked by Google with Google’s Search Console. Previously known as Webmaster Tools.
