Facebook Changes Again
Are you having a difficult time keeping up with all the changes Facebook is making?
It seems like yesterday when I could post on Facebook and a large percent of my followers would see the post.
Today, I am lucky to have 3% of my audience see the posts I publish.
There is an option to boost a post, but is it worth the investment?
Will I make the money back on reaching more people or will I just receive a few more likes?
Many artists and businesses are struggling with the same question.
Play by Facebook’s Rules

There is no guarantee how many views your posts will receive but it doesn’t hurt to try different strategies.
Facebook rewards people who support their changes.
You have seen it in the past with images.

The same is happening with video.
Just look on your Newsfeed.
You will notice more and more videos.
Now take a few minutes to observe the engagement the videos are receiving.

It is worth a try. It will not cost you anything except your time.
Here is What’s New with Facebook Video
Facebook recently announced some changes with video.
Sound
In the past, videos were silent in newsfeeds. The only way you could hear audio is by tapping on the video.
Facebook is now adding sound in the newsfeed.
You will now hear audio fade in and out as you scroll through your newsfeed.
Keep this in mind if you are creating videos for Facebook.
Vertical
People are watching more and more videos from their smartphone and mobile devices.
Vertical videos look better on mobile devices and now everyone watching videos on Android and iOS can enjoy a larger format with Facebook’s new change.
Minimize
Facebook is now allowing you to minimize a video so you can watch the video while scrolling through your newsfeed.
You can minimize the video you are watching to a corner of the screen, allowing you to continue to scroll down your feed.
Conclusion:
If Facebook is putting all this effort into videos, it might be beneficial to your business if you support Facebook’s changes.
Paying for your posts to be seen on Facebook can become costly and there is no guarantee you will benefit from your investment.
Supporting Facebook is free. You might even be rewarded by having your posts shown to more of your audience.
Make sure that your video’s audio will sound good fading in and out on Facebook’s Newsfeed.
Optimize the look of your video for when it will be viewed with larger formats.
You have a lot of opportunities to reach a larger audience with video. Take advantage of all the tools available.
