What are Your Priorities – Artist

Before you can achieve anything you must be able to answer, “What are your priorities?”

What are Your Priorities?

Before you can learn how to get things done, you will need to know what needs to get done. It sounds simple but many people do not know what they need or want to accomplish. I believe there are a couple of reasons businesses fail. One is because they do not plan, the other is the lack of time management skills.

Without a plan, you are wasting time and effort. Your goal is to achieve more with less effort.

Everyone has different priorities. That is what makes you unique and extraordinary. You will need to have a clear vision of your priorities to be able to build a successful art business. Understanding what your priorities are will allow you to make a plan that will guide you to the end.

You can now see that it is possible for you to reach your goals. There is no hidden secret or magic potion. All you need is a vision, a plan, and the know how to get complete the job. It is that simple. That is exactly how I accomplished everything in my life.

My priorities are my family and how to build a secure future for my wife and myself so we can enjoy all of the things we like as we get older. I work hard now so we can play later.

My main priority is to create passive income. The harder I work now the easier it will be in the future. Doing this will allow us to do all of the things that we dream of doing.

I remember one night, one of my good high school friends gave me a call on my way home from work. This was before they made a law against talking on your cell phone while driving.

We have not been in touch for a few years. Years will pass by between our visits, but when we do get together, it is as if we see each other every day.

We were catching up on what has been happening with each other since our last talk. After a few minutes, he asked me, “How do you accomplish everything you do? No matter what you put your mind to, you achieve it. I want to change things in my life, but I am afraid. Can we get together and would you help me?”

That comment threw me off. I have never seen myself as a successful person or anyone special. I have just always worked hard for the things that I wanted. I truly believe that if you want something, you can have it. But you need to want it. You cannot just say, “I would love to have that.”, and never think about it again. You have to want it really. If you truly want something you will work as hard as you have to until you achieve your goal. It is that simple, want it, work hard, enjoy it.

Once you know what you want the battle is half won. To win the battle, you will then need to build strategies that will lead you to the victory line. To cross the victory line, you will need to put a great deal of effort to accomplish the strategies.

That is how I have lived my life. I dream, work hard, achieve, then start a new dream. With all of my dreams I have worked on, I have mastered the art of time management. I do want to say that everything that I have accomplished took a lot of effort. Nothing came easily. I learned how to improve my skills to where I am today. I continue to work on my skills to make them better.

I was not a born guitar player. It took me many years of practice to get to where I was able to start teaching and performing between four and five nights a week.

I was not a born artist. I have had a passion for graphite from the day I could hold a pencil. I spent many hours drawing and practicing to better myself. Those hours and years of practice have allowed me to become a professional graphite artist.

I never used paints as a medium for art before I decided to start an online art business in the early 2000’s. I learned what I needed to be able to generate an income of six figures a year.

I never wrote a book, but I have a passion for helping people live their dreams. I want to help and support their dreams and watch them grow. I have decided that books will be the best way to get my message across and help more people. The funny thing about writing a book is that I was not the best English student in school. In fact, I can guarantee that no one in my high school class would have ever thought that I would write a book. I have worked hard on my writing skill to allow me to get my message across and help people.

Conclusion:

Take some time to think about what your priorities are. Once you can answer the question, “What are your priorities?” you will be able to develop strategic plans that will lead you towards your goals.
