In the past couple of articles, I have talked about how I use Tailwind for my Pinterest Scheduler.
I highly recommend trying Tailwind (affiliate link) for your Pinterest schedule if you have a Pinterest Business account.
If you are having a difficult time keeping up with creating art and marketing your artwork on Pinterest and other social media platforms, tools like Tailwind and Buffer will make your days more productive.
Imagine all of the time you would save during a week if you only had to visit Pinterest once a week while growing your audience.
How nice would it be to know what you are doing is working?
Deciding to try Tailwind was one of the best decisions I have recently made for my art business.
In less than 6 months I have built my Pinterest Business account to receive over 1.2 million monthly views and I did this with the help of Tailwind and Social Warfare (affiliate link).
You can have the same success while freeing up time during your day.
What is Tailwind?
Tailwind is a scheduling tool that allows you to schedule pins on Pinterest and images on Instagram.
In today’s post, I would like to share with you how I use Tailwind’s analytics to help me make better marketing decisions.
Understanding Tailwind Analytics
Tailwind Pinterest Analytics allows you to monitor the performance of your Pinterest marketing strategies.
You will be able to make better marketing decisions when you have a clear understanding of what is working for you and what is not working for you.
In time all of the strategies you will be implementing on Pinterest will produce positive results.
You will also become more productive with your time because you can discard strategies that are not effective.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have everything you do work for you and produce results you are hoping for?
Wouldn’t you rather be creating art than sitting in front of the computer wasting your time on strategies that are not working?
Understanding Tailwind analytics will help you to be more productive with your art marketing strategies so you can have more time to create art while people are purchasing your artwork online.
Pinterest does provide some business account analytics such as top pins based on impressions, top performing boards, clicks and repins.
However, Tailwind’s analytics include more details and I find them to be more user-friendly than Pinterest’s analytics.
I do want to mention that the longer you use Tailwind the more accurate and specific your data will be. So I recommend getting in the habit of studying your Tailwind analytics every week while you are becoming familiar with Tailwind’s other features.
In your Tailwind Dashboard, you will find links to your analytics on the left sidebar.
There is a Weekly Summary on the top of the sidebar and on the bottom of the sidebar, there is a link to Insights.
Click Weekly Summary to get a quick view of how your Pinterest marketing strategy is performing.
This page will show you how many weekly repins you are receiving, how many blog posts are being pinned from your site weekly (domain pins) and how many weekly followers you are receiving on Pinterest.
The weekly summary is a great way for you to see how well you are doing week to week but for detailed information, you will want to visit Insights.
The first link under Insights will be the Profile Performance.
