What does being successful mean to you? Do you have a successful artist mindset?
“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” ~ Albert Schweitzer
Successful Artist Mindset
For some artists, it might mean to make a living and support their family selling their artwork. Other people might believe that they are successful if they make enough extra money to bring their family on vacations every year. Success means something different for everyone. There is no right or wrong answer to this question. The only answer that matters is what does it mean to you personally.
Before I go any further, I want to you take some time to think about what would success look like to you. Where would you like your artwork to take you? Would you like financial freedom? Would you be happy with some extra spending money to be able to enjoy the things that you like? Would you like so generate enough income to help you children go to college?
Think about what would make you feel successful and write it down on paper. I believe that writing your thoughts down on paper mean more than typing them on a computer. You are more connected with the paper and pencil. You can see your thoughts be written down on paper as you are thinking of them.
After you have completed writing down what success means to you, read them out loud. How does it make you feel when you hear yourself speak those words? Does it make you feel excited? Does it make you feel afraid? Do you feel that they are out of your reach? Do you feel that you are worth being successful?
If you feel anything but excited to get started, you need to reprogram your thoughts. You need to start believing that you can succeed. Once you can start believing in yourself, you are on the way to becoming a successful artist. Everything that you read on my website will help you to achieve your dreams if you believe.
