If you do, turn off your smartphone alerts and close out unnecessary tabs on your browser.
If your phone is lighting up like the Fourth of July, put it in airplane mode.
Better yet, put your phone in a different room.
If you use the Pomodoro Technique you will be able to check your phone every five minutes if you wish to do so.
This is an easy step you can take to start getting control back in your days.
Do not allow yourself to be a victim of the SmartPhone “ding”.

This step is going to take some time to get used to.
At first, you will feel as if something is missing if you do not have your phone in arms reach.
But in time you will realize that your phone will always be available for you when the time is appropriate.
First, try turning off all of your notifications and close any unnecessary tabs.
If you find that you are still being distracted by your phone, start placing it in a different room.
In a few weeks, you will realize that you accomplishing more tasks in less time.
