I chose this beautiful leopard because of the fearless look she has over her land.
The leopard is the most elusive and secretive of the large felids. They are extremely difficult to trace and locate in the wild. Leopards tend to have distinctive dark spots called rosettes, which create beautiful patterns against their otherwise light fur. (Source: One Kind Planet)
In this Pastel painting, I used multiple colors of pan pastels, soft pastels, and pastel pencils.
The multiple layers created the soft fu with beautiful yellows and browns.
You can tell what she is thinking by looking into her beautiful blueish-yellow eye.
The dark background gives the painting gives the leopard a sense of mystical power.
