There are many social media networks available for you to build an audience and showcase your artwork. To be honest there are so many it makes my head spin.
I don’t know about you but I have found myself mesmerized by all of the new shiny bells and whistles that pop up and tried most of them.
Needless to say, they produced less than modest results.
Over the years I have learned how to be more productive in digital marketing. The first step I took was by reducing how many social media accounts I am active on.
The end result was more time to market on social media networks that generated more sales.
That is the goal anyway, right, to sell more art?
The three social networks that work well for me are Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Twitter is different from the rest of the pack. During the day you will find me visiting Twitter more than any other social networks I use. Not only is it easy for me to promote my artwork to my followers but I have also built some wonderful relationships with other artists and influencers.
Optimize Your Twitter Art Business Account with Keywords
There is a learning curve associated will every social network. You will want to learn the best practices for building an audience and promoting your artwork.
I have discovered the importance of using keywords not only on my Twitter profile but also my tweets.
Using keywords that are relevant to your business in your tweets will make it easier for people to find you in a Twitter search. Some people might think only hashtags are needed, but they are mistaken.
If someone puts in the keyword “art” in the search bar on Twitter, any post that has the word art or #art will come up in the results.
I am going to outline the steps I take for researching keywords for my Twitter Art Business account.
