Are you on Twitter?
With so many social media networks to pick from, deciding what will be best for you can become daunting.
There are a few powerhouses that you might want to consider using. Twitter is at the top of the list.
In this post, you will discover how you can increase website traffic with Twitter.
Increase Website Traffic With Twitter
It is easy to keep up to date with everything going on in the world in real-time with Twitter.
If you want to find out about the latest product releases, keeping up to date with your friends, learning more about your favorite artist, Twitter is the real-time news source for you to visit.
Twitter is not only for finding real-time news; it is also an excellent way to increase your website traffic and network with other artists.
If you are trying to find different ways to reach more people, you might want to consider marketing your artwork on Twitter.
If you have never used Twitter, it only takes a couple of minutes to set up a Twitter account.

The next step you will want to take is to search for people to follow.

A great way to start building a following on Twitter is to start following others.
The people on Twitter are very supportive, and most people will follow you back if you follow them.
You will find that it is easier to build a following on Twitter than on other platforms like Facebook.
Find The Latest News On Twitter
Twitter is an excellent place for people to find the latest news quickly.
It is a fast-paced world. When time is limited, people can keep up-to-date with the world around them.
How can this help you to sell more art?
When you have a new product for sale, post it on Twitter and include a link to where someone can purchase it.
You will be building your brand awareness with people who have limited time.
If they are interested in what you have to offer, they will go back to your tweet and visit your website for more information.
Do not get discouraged if they do not make a purchase the first time they see your artwork on Twitter. But when someone is interested in your artistic style regularly sees your art on Twitter, they will start to take notice and will want to learn more about you and your artwork.
Build Your Twitter Following
To have your tweets reach more people on Twitter, you will need to focus on building your audience.
You can not expect to sell a ton of art on Twitter if you only have five people following you.
Once you have created your account, let everyone know that you are on Twitter and that you would like to connect with them there.
Send an email to your email list and let them know they can now follow you on Twitter.
Share the news on all of the other social networks you are on, and tell your family and friends to follow you on Twitter.
Once you get the ball rolling, you will be surprised how quickly your Twitter following will grow.
Stay Connected With Your Twitter Audience
It is hard to stay connected with everyone that walks into your life.
One goal for artists is to build a large following. The larger the following, the better. The more people who know you, the more art you will sell.
As you start to build your audience, you will find it tough to keep in touch with everyone, especially on several social media networks.
It becomes a double-edged sword. You spend the time to build your following. Then you come to a point when you do not have enough time to stay in touch with everyone.
The good news is that Twitter makes it easy for you to share valuable information daily.
With only 280 characters allowed, Twitter makes it easy for you to send a quick message.

Schedule Time To Engage With Twitter Followers
Like I have mentioned earlier, the larger your following becomes, the more difficult it becomes to engage with everyone.
I have found that if I take 10 minutes twice a day, I can reply to all of my followers on social media platforms.
It only takes me twenty minutes a day.
Before I started doing this, I found myself wasting time answering each message that chimed on my phone.
I turned off the notifications and dedicated 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening to reply to comments.
Some days might take a few minutes longer, and some days will be a little less, but I can engage with all of my following in about twenty minutes.
Final Thoughts On How To Increase Website Traffic With Twitter
Twitter is an excellent tool for you to build your brand awareness and drive traffic to your site. Become a news source for your business and start sharing it in real-time on Twitter.
When people regularly see your tweets, they will remember you when they have more time to surf the net.
They will remember your latest news and will visit your site to gather more information. They might even see something that they will want to purchase.
If there is something new about your website, share it on Twitter, and create a buzz.
Give a short description of what you have created and add a link to your website to see what is new. This will get people to check out our website more often.
