Insert Links On WordPress
You can add links to your posts and pages on WordPress. The actions required will be the same for both.
For this example, I will use a post but you can perform the same steps on your pages.
Click on a Post that you would like to insert a link on.
Highlight a word or phrase you would like to add a link to.
Click Insert Link Icon on the top of your WordPress editor.
Paste the URL or search for a post from your library.
After you have added the URL click the Blue Arrow to insert or the Wheel edit.
In the pop-up box, you will be able to edit the URL, link text or have the option for having a new tab open when the link is clicked.
Click the Open link in a new tab box to add a check if you would like the link to open a new tab or leave unchecked if you would not like the link to open a new tab.
Click Update when you are finished making any changes.
Edit Links In WordPress
Editing a link on WordPress is easy to do.
First, locate the link you would like to edit.
Hover over the link that you previously inserted and click on the Pencil.
Make any adjustments as needed then click Update.
Delete Links In WordPress
To delete a hyperlink, hover over a link that was created previously.
Click Delete.
