So how long does it really take for a page to rank in Google?
Since there are many different variables that determine how long it will take for a page to rank in Google, there is no straightforward answer. Luckily, a comprehensive study carried out by the talented team at Ahrefs has brought us a bit closer to answering this burning question.
The Ahrefs study showed that the average Top 10 ranking page is 2+ years old, while the lucky pages that rank at first position of Google search results are usually around 3 years old.
