Facebook Fan Page: How Often Artists Should Post

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • LinkedIn

Do you know how often you should be posting on your artist Facebook Fan Page? Have you noticed that your posts are not reaching many of your fans?

In this post, I am going to share with you some helpful information that will help you to know when the best time is to be posting on your Facebook Fan Page. Also, you will discover how many times you should be posting on Facebook Fan Page.

Facebook Fan Page

Your online art sales will increase when you can market to the right people. This group of people is also known as your target audience. They are the ones who are interested in your artistic style and message.

Facebook is a platform that allows business and artists to find new customers. If your marketing strategy is on point, you will attract your target audience.

Facebook can be a valuable asset to your art business if you plan and strategize correctly.

Facebook’s Algorithm

Many businesses and artists are finding it to be very difficult to keep up with all of the changes Facebook and other social media networks are making.

Keeping up with all of the changes can easily become a full-time job.

I don’t know about you but I can not afford to hire someone to just focus on social media for my art business.

That is why we have to work smarter and be more productive with our time.

One change that I would like to talk about today is the new algorithm Facebook has.

Facebook is trying to share the best content to its readers. This is similar to Google and other search engines. Think about how many businesses that you follow and how many times they might be posting. If all of the content they share was posted to your personal page you would never see what your friends and family are posting.

This could easily become very frustrating to the average person visiting Facebook for entertainment.

In order for you to become successful promoting and selling your artwork on Facebook, you need to have an understanding of how Facebook works. You will also want to know how to analyze your results so you can get the most out of your posts.

Here is a more in-depth post on Facebook’s organic reach, HOW MANY PEOPLE SEE YOUR FACEBOOK POSTS?

What is Facebook Organic Reach

You might have heard of the term, “Facebook Organic Reach.” This replies to the total number of unique people who your post was shown to for free. This means you didn’t spend money to “Boost” your post.

Your goal is to have your posts shown to as many unique people as possible, for free.

You can accomplish this by learning what types of posts your audience engages on, best times to reach your audience and how often to post on your timeline.

What is Facebook Paid Reach

Facebook Paid Reach is how many people saw your post from a paid ad that Facebook offers.

I will be sharing further information on paid research and how it could benefit your art business.

How to Benefit from Your Facebook’s Insights

Facebook offers a powerful tool that allows you to track user interaction on your Facebook Fan Page.

  • You can benefit from the data that you collect.
  • You will discover what posts your audience likes best.
  • You will discover what type of content creates engagement.
  • You will discover how many people your post reached and more.

Facebook Insight Page

The success of your art business will be based on how well you can analyze the outcome of your efforts and the will to change and adjust strategies.

I have yet to meet an artist who developed a plan that worked the first time.

  • The first stage is an idea.
  • The second stage is developing an action plan and implementing the plan.
  • The third step is analyzing the results.
  • The fourth step is revising the strategy.

Steps three and four will be repeated until you have reached your destination.

Let’s take some time to learn how you can know exactly what is working from your Facebook marketing strategies.

Login into your Facebook Page

On the top menu bar click the link Insights

Click on all of the links on the left menu bar to get familiar with the data.

To be able to get the most out of the insights you will need to have a couple of months of data to be able to analyze.

Start Generating Data:

Start by posting at least once a day on your Fan Page.

Post at different times of the day.

Use different types of posts, text, images, images with text overlay, links, and videos.

Make a calendar of when and what you are posting so you will be able to keep track of what you are doing.

Revising Facebook’s Marketing Strategies

In time you will start to notice what works best for your audience.

Do not be fooled by people claiming they have the best Facebook marketing solution.

Every business has a unique audience therefor different marketing strategies must be in place.

When you start to see what is working, revise your strategy. Focus on what is working and discard what is not working.
