The big businesses do have an advantage over the single artist. They have a large budget that they can incorporate into their marketing strategy. However, you can learn a great deal from them and it will cost you nothing but your time. The more that you study what works best for them, the more you will be able to incorporate different marketing strategies that will work best for your business. If a strategy is working for a large company, it will work for you as well. Do not try to reinvent the wheel.

Talk To Your Fans – The big companies have learned that Facebook is a place to socialize with their fans. Many businesses fail because they just try to sell their goods on Facebook. This is the best way to lose your following. Facebook is a social network. People go there to socialize not to shop.

Make it exciting for your fans. This is a place where you can let go and socialize with your new friends.
