Daily Action Plan Profile Image

Your primary goal for building brand awareness is to have people recognize you, your art, and your brand. You want to make it as easy as possible for people to know that it is you posting your articles, images, videos, and artwork.

One way people will start to recognize you is by your profile picture.

I have noticed many people using different images for their profile images for several social media sites they are using. It took me awhile to realize it was the same person, but eventually I did. I wonder how many posts I scrolled by not noticing it was theirs.

It is a fast paste world. You have a limited time to catch someone’s attention. Most people do not have a lot of time when they go on their favorite social network sites. They scroll through their news feed trying to catch something that excites them or keeps them up to date. If you do not make it easy for them to recognize your posts, they might just scroll by missing your message.

Some of your audience will be on different social sites just like you are. You can make it easier for them to recognize you by using the same image for your profile on all of your social media sites, blog and art gallery.

People become familiar with profile images of businesses that they like. When a post from that business pops up on their news feed, they will take notice and stop to read what it says. You want your audience to recognize your posts. You do that by being consistent with your branding which includes your profile images.

Today’s daily task is to go through all of your sites and make sure that you have the same image of you for your profile pictures. If you don’t, decide what one you like the best and update all of your sites.

It is always a good idea to keep your profile image updated as well. You might want to consider updating your image once a year.

Updating your profile images will only take a few minutes to execute but will be well worth every second it takes to complete.
