Build Traffic with List Posts
What is a List Post?
A list post is content that is created with a number of points discussed about a topic.
List posts are used by many bloggers to build traffic and to have their content shared. If you take a look at what the most shared content is, you will notice that most of them are written this way.
Why do list posts work?
- They are easy to read. Most people read content on mobile devices on the go. It is easier for them to get the information that they are looking for by scanning through the list.
- Straight to the point. List posts get right to the point without rambling on. There is a time and place that more detail will be needed. People interested in just the facts gravitate towards list posts.
- Valuable information. Most list posts share a strong point of view on a topic. If there is something that you feel strong about a list post might be the best option for you.
- Easy to digest. There are many times that I go to a post and the paragraphs are too long. I find myself clicking off of that post very quickly. With list posts you can digest the information easily. Most points are made within just a few sentences.
